We hired Mike Staff Productions for both photography and DJ services. Both services were absolutely amazing! When looking for a photographer and DJ on google, Mike Staff was the first one to pop up in our area. We had a great experience with them from the initial contact (prior to booking) to the very end. We decided to have two photographers and add on an additional hour for both since our ceremony was so early -- I highly recommend having two photographers and adding an additional hour if needed! Our main photographer was Pam and the second was Joel-- they were both amazing! Pam was there for us every step of the way pre-wedding and wedding day. She was very easy to communicate with, very talented and it was very apparent that she absolutely loves her job which is so important in this line of work! 🙂 The turn around for receiving a sneak peak and then all of the photos was great. Our DJ was amazing as well! We had DJ Dave and he was very easy to communicate with, listened to our requests + our guests requests, kept the timeline going smoothly and was overall very talented at his job! The dance floor remained packed until the end! We could not be happier with all of our photos and both the DJ and photography service we received. We would recommend Mike Staff to everyone!

She took charge because I requested her to, and I was absolutely blown away at how quickly she finished many family photos I had scheduled to take place in a short period of time. Overall, I knew wedding days needed a lot of time cushion so I accounted for it, but Jenny was so efficient she gave us even more time than I originally cushioned for! Everyone was impressed by her knowledge and ease of directing people and overall, I am SO grateful we had this amazing professional take care of us on our wedding day!Phil was also amazing. He had a lot of tips to relate from his vast experience as a wedding DJ, and it was clear he was enthusiastic about DJing weddings and music in general from our conversation on the phone. He asked for specifics where needed, and he managed to smoothly transition some songs I wanted for ceremony, despite our officiant messing it all up. Phil played it by ear and played the music I requested as best as he could with the mess-up, and I really appreciated it. Maybe it's generally known or standard for DJs to have good-sounding equipment but I just wanted to mention that Phil DID have very good quality speakers, the music was crystal clear and could be easily heard and projected well without being too loud and grating. We requested just fun, upbeat popular songs to dance to at the reception, particularly maybe 2015 or before (since we haven't really listened to recent music) and he obliged easily. He got everyone on the dance floor with ease from the beginning, and many of us are not very young anymore, so we had to step off the dancefloor after the initial energetic rush but we LOVED all the music and fun going on. He of course threw in a few popular slow-dancing songs as well, and overall everything was perfectly balanced. He was calm and helpful, and his emcee style was just the right amount of laid back and fun (some weddings I see DJs trying really hard to get people hyped up and screaming and it's exhausting to us, so Phil was just the right DJ for us). One of my guests commented to me after how amazing a DJ he was, and when his daughters get married he'll ask me for who DJed my wedding :)We received our sneak peak and full gallery technically even earlier than promised. Mike Staff is so efficient, professional, and experienced, we were blown away. We echo many of the reviews already shared! Great communication, accessibility, and personalization. We never felt pressured to have one thing or another. We originally didn't include ceremony coverage as part of our package, but this was easily added when we realized we needed it. There is a whole questionnaire that covers all the details you could want for your music needs. We LOVED how much you express what your wants and needs are, and we felt heard and like our wishes were respected and followed. Truly fantastic.DJ Jeff was the DJ extraordinaire for our wedding. Let me tell you, Jeff went above and beyond to make sure everything was prefect. We were so impressed. He was prompt in responding to anxious emails that I sent to double check that this and that was covered. He was patient as he tried to corral the wedding party before the entrance time when some members didn't have their best listening ears on. At one point during the reception, he came up to us. He told us that some of our "must play" songs played while we were pulled away for some golden hour photos with our photographers. He asked if we wanted any songs of those songs played again so we could enjoy them and if there were any other specific songs we wanted to hear. I have never seen a DJ go up and cater to the couple like that. We felt so cared for. There was a special song I wanted play for my mother and I, and he made sure to come up to me and let me know of his plan of when to play it and if that was okay with me. We felt like he had great instincts with his DJ service. Jeff also had a great energy, and us and our guests appreciated when we saw him grooving with us. Jeff was patient, kind, and overall wonderful. My groom and I were a little weary of DJ services in general as we haven't always been impressed with the music played at other weddings we've been to (and we know there is a reason for that but we were just tired of hearing basically the same songs at every wedding). We were hoping to incorporate more of us and music we like at our wedding, and DJ Jeff/Mike Staff Productions helped make that happen.
