YAY! You’ve got your ring, let the engagement fun begin…
A good place to start: Engagement Photo Shoot!
You might be asking yourself, why take engagement photos?
- It’s a great opportunity to work with your wedding photographer for the first time and get comfortable in front of their lens and with their style.
- Use the photos for your save-the-dates, give framed prints as gifts to your families, put an announcement in the newspaper or local magazine (yes, people still do that!)
DID YOU KNOW: When you book a wedding photographer with Mike Staff Productions we allow you to choose the photographer that fits your personalities by watching video profiles of our team! Your engagement session would feature the same great wedding photographer you selected to capture your wedding day and they’ll work with you to find a special and personal location and help to include any props you want in the shoot to make your photos uniquely you!
Speaking of props, adding them to your photos can be a fun way to provide some personal insight into a relationship. Think of props as an element of design used to bring the shoot together, by tying together a theme and/or complementing the story of your love.
Whether your photos reflect your hobbies, favorite sports team (GO BLUE!) or your cute puppy — here are some of our favorite ways to add props to your pics!
