Mike Staff Productions cherishes the relationships we build with the wedding venues we work with, it truly takes a partnership to pull off a remarkable wedding. Our team has worked hand in hand with Pine Knob Golf Club and Banquet Facilities since the beginning. We have worked with this team on hundreds & hundreds of weddings (no joke)! Bottom line: we share the same core values when it comes to serving our couples and their guests.
If you’re a bride, reading this blog, looking for the perfect wedding venue, Pine Knob classifies as a one stop shop; ceremony, cocktail, reception all in one! They offer two reception options; The Pine Knob Mansion and The Carriage House and each have their own corresponding ceremony location. The difference between the two? The size of your wedding. The Mansion provides a more intimate feel inside of a historic home while the Carriage House provides space for more guests but still features same historic character. Both come with endless photography & videography options thanks to their immaculate grounds. Our Vice President of Entertainment, Kurt Colone and Social Marketing Manager recently checked out the grounds themselves. Consider this a behinds tour without leaving the house.
WATCH: Behind the Scenes at Pine Knob Mansion
“The Mansion, originally a 19 room English Manor, was built by Colonel Waldon in 1927. It sits on the highest natural point in Southeastern Michigan and is surrounded by exquisite manicured gardens. It’s Great Hall with arched ceilings and stained glass windows offers magnificent views of the sunrise and sunset. A ceremony in the garden at the gazebo affords views in excess of 30 miles of the surrounding communities and landscape. ” – PineKnobMansion.com
The Carriage House
“The Carriage House, built in 1927, originally housed the caretaker’s family for Colonel Waldon’s estate. The property surrounded by orchards on an 850 acre estate has been transformed into a unique contemporary banquet facility with crystal chandeliers and picturesque floor to ceiling windows. While overlooking the golf course it also provides an outside pavilion for a one of a kind ceremony. The wooded golf course adds a breathtaking backdrop, with beautiful displays of nature at its finest.” – PineKnobMansion.com
