‘Mike Staff is the best! That may sound cheesy, but it is so true! The whole team went above and beyond, and we could not have asked for a better experience. I feel that way because the Mike Staff team is so experienced in the wedding industry and obviously familiar with working together. Using both services and allowing them to work together as a coordinated team made it that much easier for us! Thank you all so much for making our special day that much more perfect! We would definitely recommend Mike Staff Productions.’ – Holly Beevers
Our Love Story
‘Mitch and I made the decision to move from Michigan to Arizona together in May of 2014, and then we later bought a house there in the summer of the following year. After accomplishing so much together, we knew it was time to take the next step in our relationship. Although the day he proposed, I was definitely not expecting it! Haha. The summer of 2016, Mitch and I took a trip to the Upper Peninsula in Michigan to visit my mom, and he proposed to me on the top of Sugarloaf Mountain overlooking Lake Superior in Marquette, MI. I remember we were both so nervous, that we put the ring on the wrong hand at first, and after realizing it a few seconds later, we had to switch the ring to my left hand! Haha It was magical, definitely a surprise, and I couldn’t of asked for a more perfect proposal!’
Our Fall Wedding
‘Before Mitch even proposed, I knew I wanted a fall wedding. I knew I wanted fall leaves, pumpkins, apples, and I knew for sure I wanted donuts and cider from the cider mill, since this is something I love and miss about Michigan, and we can’t get this in Arizona. It was everything I envisioned and more, and even with the rain, I still was able to have my dream ceremony outside with logs and sunflowers exactly how I envisioned it (and exactly how I had it on my Pinterest board. Fox Hills was so beautiful and the perfect venue.I didn’t envision crying (happily) all day, but I don’t think there was a moment I wasn’t in tears! I would have to say my favorite moment of the day was when our minister read the personalized letters that we wrote to each other during our vows. We worked so hard on those letters, and it was so special to hear them read out loud on our day. Pretty sure I cried during that, of course!’
Our (Stunning) Wedding Video
‘Having a wedding video was so important to us because we wanted to make sure we captured every aspect of the night. The night went by extremely fast, and even though so many great things happened that we did get to see and experience for ourselves, there were also so many other little details and events that we did miss! Our Mike Staff Productions Videographer, Rocky did an amazing job in capturing every single moment and every small detail so that we had the opportunity to relive the night for the rest of our lives. I remember the first time we watched it, we reminisced on so many things we forgot. It is just so awesome to have our entire wedding on camera, in motion, as it was happening. I love everything about the video, but the beginning with my maid of honor’s speech is definitely my favorite part and is so memorable.’
Our Mike Staff Productions Wedding DJ
‘Randy was our DJ from Mike Staff Productions and he was just amazing and so much fun! He had everyone on the dance floor the whole night! Really, he did! I would definitely say the Cupid Shuffle had everyone moving for sure at our wedding. But besides playing just great music, Randy truly went above and beyond. I remember Randy wiping off the chairs over and over again before the ceremony while it was still drizzling outside so that everyone wouldn’t have to sit on wet seats or stand during the ceremony. That was honestly the most thoughtful things ever in my opinion. All in all, if it wasn’t for him, I don’t know what we would have done. He kept everything (and everybody) on track and overall just made everything perfect.
We selected “Love me like you do” by Ellie Goulding for our first dance song and we chose it because it has the most romantic tune. The lyrics are so beautiful and fitting! We knew when we were going over possible songs that this was the perfect fit right away. We even choreographed a special dance for it!’
Thank you, Holly & Mitchell! It was an honor to work with you!
