Mike Staff Productions is proud to continue our partnership with Covenant House as part of our Heart to Serve initiative. Covenant House Michigan is a faith-based nonprofit organization that provides hope to homeless, runaway and at-risk youth ages 13-22. They provide shelter, educational and vocational programs, as well as other support services, to help overcome hurdles such as homelessness, unemployment, inadequate education, violence, drugs and gangs. The 2015 Heart to Serve Giveaway is in full swing! Here is a special message from Mike Staff about this year’s giveaway:
Mike Staff Productions has just launched the 2015 “Heart To Serve” Challenge and will be giving five people, $500 each (total of $2500 ) by asking the simple question, “If we gave you $500 to help someone else in need, how would you use the money? “
Thursday Night, for the second year in a row, I slept outside on the streets of Detroit to raise money and awareness for Covenant House, Michigan, an organization dedicated to helping homeless youth in the Detroit area (read more about Covenant House below). Note from Mike Staff:
This past weekend Mike Staff Productions had the opportunity to be involved in the Covenant House Open House in downtown Detroit. Covenant House helps homeless youth in our community. Thank you to Mike Staff Productions Volunteer Photographer, Glenn Corcoran, for donating his time and talents to this great event. I asked Glenn if he would share his experience from this weekend …
The Santa Express
Santa Express keeps the joy of Christmas alive for children and families in need. Santa Express began in a suburb of Detroit in the 1980’s by the mother of Mike Staff Productions General Manager, Tim Stolkey. It started with just two families and grew to close to 200 when Mrs. Stolkey sadly passed away in 1996, at which time the program died, too.
