Our Love Story
We met in high school, started dating Sophomore year. Chris proposed during a surprise trip to Lake Tahoe, at Emerald Bay.
Our Wedding Vision
We wanted something elegant and timeless. We always envisioned an outdoor wedding but we feel in love with The Treasury in Pontiac, MI when touring venues.
Our favorite wedding memories were walking down the aisle together after the ceremony was over, when we were finally together and able to talk (for the first time as husband and wife!)
Our Wedding Photography
Dennis, our professional wedding photographer, was great, easy to talk to and I felt comfortable letting him take the lead on what would look best.
Our Wedding Video
It was important for us to get a professional wedding video because after the day is done, all you have left are the photos and video captured. We plan to rewatch the video every year on our anniversary.
Our Wedding Planning Advice
I would have hired a wedding planner and coordinator from the planning start. We both work full time and are very busy. It involved way more time and effort than what we were expecting. We hired a wedding coordinator halfway through and it was an IMMENSE help.
