Cutest Love Story Ever! 28 Years Between 1st Kiss & Wedding Day
Our Love Story
Our love story began at Sesame Street Live when we were 2 years old! That’s where our first kiss took place (as seen in picture) lol. My dad and his mom knew each other since Middle School and stayed friends for many years. We never officially dated after that and only saw one another at family parties every so often. I went off to college and we both dated other people.
In 2012, I graduated from college and moved back home. Brandon messaged me on Facebook to reconnect and go get drinks! Since that night I’m 2012, we have been inseparable and together for 6 years when he decided to propose in February 2018 at Campus Martius Park. Brandon wanted to take me ice skating since I’ve never been and he has been a hockey player all of his life. He bent down to say he was going to fix my skate laces and asked me to be his wife and here we are! We like to say it was destined to be from day one. It only took us 21 years to find our way back to each other!
How Our Love Story Went Viral
I was talking with Mojo in the Morning and didn’t realize our story would take off like that! We love sharing it. All the attention was not something we expected, but love seeing all of the comments and words of well wishes from people all over who listen to the show. On social media, it’s has over 2,000 likes and 100 comments! I love that people enjoy seeing it since we are so thrilled to be here where we are today!

Our experience with Chris was amazing. We had such great vibes from watching his video initially and we were right! Chris was so easy to talk to and really listened to what we wanted! I am not a person who likes pictures and he made it comfortable, easy and fun. My professional wedding photos are very important to us. We will cherish them and can look back on all the memories of that day! Chris truly did an amazing job.

Our wedding video is amazing. It’s so nice to have the photos, but to have the video of the entire day is priceless. Jason captured the best moments and included all of our loved ones. I love that it showcases real moments with Brandon and I. Smiling and enjoying our day!
Our Wedding DJ
There were quite a few songs that were played that for everyone up…Eyes Don’t Cry by Stevie Wonder for the hustle, The Chicken Dance (father-in-law’s request), and The Cha Cha Slide. Our professional wedding DJ made it memorable by directing the night, he really did a great job at keeping everything flowing and on track so that Brandon and I could enjoy the night! He brought energy and kept everyone dancing!
