Our Love Story
Colin took me on a birthday getaway for a weekend in Hocking Hills. Little did I know our first hike was him secretly planning to propose on top of a cliff overlooking the most beautiful landscape.
Our Wedding Vision
From the beginning, I knew what I wanted my wedding to look like. I was one of those girls planning their wedding from the age of 10, and it truly didn’t waiver much from the original outline. I wanted something very intimate, natural, rustic, and fun!
Our Favorite Wedding Memories
Hands-down, my favorite moment was being able to share our first kiss as husband and wife!
Wedding DJ Experience
We cannot say enough good things about our wedding DJ; his energy was unmatched and kept the vibe up the entire night! Our first dance was to ‘Wondering Why’ by the Red Clay Strays. We had quite the list of potential contenders for a first dance song, but after falling in love with the Red Clay Strays as a whole, hearing ‘Wondering Why’, it just seemed to be a perfect fit, not only the tone of the song, but the lyrics fit us so perfectly!
Wedding Photography Experience
Wedding photos and video were my top priority aside from actually getting married. I am somebody who will flip through the memories constantly to relive moments. Our photographer was incredible and captured every ‘must-have’ shot requested. We are truly in love with every single photo that we received.
Wedding Videography Experience
Wedding videography was extremely important to us, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our mini movie is everything that we could’ve asked for, and our full-length documentary is incredible! Being able to not only relive our entire wedding on screen, but as the bride being able to see moments I may have missed on the big day is beyond amazing!
Our Wedding Planning Advice
My best advice for wedding planning would be to plan to be as ‘laid back’ as possible on the wedding day. The only thing you should be concerned about is getting married, having a trusted go-to person for any questions or concerns so all you have to worry about is marrying the love of your life!
