The Henry Hotel Wedding of Katee & Joshua

The Henry Hotel Wedding of Katee & Joshua: January 25, 2025

Overall, Mike Staff Productions was the best experience that we could have asked for. All three vendors worked together. It was to the point where you didn’t even realize they were at the wedding because the event ran so smoothly! – Happy bride, Katee

Our Proposal Story

We were on a Christmas and New Year’s Eve cruise with our family. At 12:05 a.m., in the middle of the Caribbean, Josh got down on one knee in front of our parents and my grandma and asked if I would marry him.

Our Wedding Vision

My vision for the wedding was “Rustic Elegance”.

Our Favorite Wedding Moments

My favorite moments were the rope-tying portion of the ceremony and the cutting of the cake.

Wedding DJ experience

Our wedding DJ followed our playlist of ‘must haves’, ‘do not play’, and ‘try to play’ songs. He made sure that the dance floor was filled, he also made sure that everything was announced and the attention was brought to the dance floor and to the bridal party when needed.

For our first dance, Josh and I chose Cant Take My Eyes Off of You by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. We chose this song because Frankie Valli was the first concert we attended on a date at the Fox Theatre.

Wedding Photography Experience

Our wedding photographer, Greg, was the most pivotal person at our wedding. He captured every moment and more than we asked for. After talking to him before the wedding, he knew our vision and ran with it. We already established a relationship with Greg prior to the wedding because he did our engagement photos with us. He made the whole day comfortable and was willing to capture not just the bride and groom moments, but also the intimate family moments.

Wedding Videography Experience

Getting the wedding video was important to us because we did not get to see all of the little moments during our special day. Having the video, we will be able to look back on all of the little moments, intimate moments, and fun moments on our special day.

Our Wedding Planning Advice

Organize, Organize, Organzie.

The best advice I could give for a wedding is to create a book and a timeline of everything you need, want, etc.

I organized my entire wedding before meeting with the vendors and it allowed all four of us to refine a plan that met our needs for our wedding. Planning it all out showed with all of the little details on our special day.
