Our Love Story
“Our love story began with a swipe!”
“Yup, that’s right, we are true tinder success story! It was October 2014, mid football season. Lucas, a U of M fan and me a former Spartan, went back and forth fighting over who would win the big game. Around our third anniversary, Lucas got us tickets for the Michigan / Michigan State football game in East Lansing and surprised me by proposing at my alma mater in front of the Beaumont clock tower.”
Our Wedding Vision:
“Wedding planning, for the two of us, was easy. We both envisioned a winter wonderland in a rustic setting. As soon as we walked into Waldenwoods, we knew this was our venue! Everything else just fell right into place.”
“The best moment was our first look. As soon as we saw each other we could not stop smiling!”

“We choose ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ by James Arthur for our first dance; the lyrics just spoke to us. DJ Bob had the dance floor going all night but honestly, when “Backstreet’s Back” by Backstreet Boys came on the floor was packed! Everyone loves a good 90’s throwback!”

“Lucas and I are both really big on capturing moments. We love taking pictures and videos! It was very important to both of us to capture as much as possible and we are both so thrilled that we did. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and Mike Staff was able to catch every moment on camera so we can share it for a lifetime!”
