Our Real Detroit Wedding: June 1, 2018
“Overall Mikes Staff Productions was amazing. We booked our DJ, photographer, videographer and uplighting, all 4 services, with Mike Staff Productions! All worked together and all did an amazing job. We would highly recommend bundling the services. Not only will you have nothing to worry about the day of, they truly do work together as a team. It was a great experience and we are grateful to have worked with some amazing people on our wedding day.” – Happy Bride, Allison
Our Love Story
“We met in nursing school at Madonna University. We both were in the same class. I remember first seeing Victor – he caught my eye with his bright smile. We had mutual friends but never personally talked until he forgot a calculator for an exam. Of course I had two and offered him one of mine. After that we began to study together in lab and became really good friends. We had a strong connection and at the end of the semester we both admitted we liked each other. Our friendship grew to love and a truly unbreakable bond.
Victor proposed to me on July 5th 2017. We spent the day going to places where we made some great memories throughout our years of dating. We went to the spot we had our first date, where we went on Valentine’s Day, and where we celebrated our first year of dating. We stopped by my house at the end of the day. I went to put my shoes in my room and it was full of balloons. With one special balloon in the middle of the room with a ring box attached to the bottom. I turned around and Victor was down on one knee. He proposed!”
Our Mike Staff Productions DJ
“DJ Wes was amazing. We talked on the phone the week before the wedding day. He had some great ideas like the reverse anniversary dance. He was very personable and we loved his style. He truly got everyone on the dance floor and his unique style was amazing. He was amazing at turning tables and people are still talking about it today!
Our first dance was to Michael Buble ‘You and I”. The words of the song described the love for each other and matched our simple elegance of the wedding. We later did the reverse anniversary dance to ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran which holds a very special place in our hearts. It is a song that we have always played for each other since we started dating.”
Our ‘WOW’ Factor
“The uplighting completed the look and feel of the venue. We picked purple uplights because our colors were lavender, gold and ivory. It gave the reception the perfect vibe for dancing. It also looks great in the photos. It set the perfect mood and it truly was a wonderful choice!”
Our Wedding Video
“A wedding video was so important to us because it is a reminder of the most special day in our life. It takes our memories and brings it to life. It not only allows us to see our wedding from a unique perspective but allows us to never forget all of the details on our big day. We can hold onto it forever.”
Our Wedding Photographer
“We loved our photographer, Mary. She was so easy to talk to and made us feel so comfortable. We took engagement photos with her and it allowed us to connect and made us even more excited to have her with us on our big day. Our wedding photos mean a lot to us because we will forever have them in our life. They are our memories and when I see them I get the same feeling I had on my wedding day. Mary captured our love.
Also, the way the videographer and photographer worked together was amazing. They both allowed the day to run so smoothly. The videographer, Rocky, worked so well with Mary. I was truly so happy.”
