Our Real Detroit Wedding: July 27, 2019

We even realized at the end of the night we forgot to take a picture with out thank you again to use for thank you cards and tried to do it outside with a friends phone when Daniel, our videographer who was packing up to go home noticed we needed better lighting and provided a light off the clock. Our Love Story
Brett and I went to high school together but did not date, we were just really good friends (apparently he had a little crush on me though from what I was told by friends) He went to Michigan State and I went to UNLV is Las Vegas,. It wasn’t until 6 years after high school that we reconnected when he made a trip to Vegas with his friends and asked if I wanted to hang out with them. We totally hit it off and the rest is history. If you would have told me I was going to marry someone from my high school when I had moved across the country, I would have said you were crazy. But I am so happy it turned out that way. Brett proposed in a cute way at our house right before we left for cape cod for a family reunion so we could use that opportunity to celebrate with friends.

We definitely wanted a laid back and fun wedding with lots of dancing which we definitely got!

The photographers Shannon and Brittany were great and very organized. They made the day so relaxing and easy and took amazing shots of literally everything. These wedding photos are so important and we will cherish these memories forever.
Our Wedding Videography
I am so happy we have a wedding video to watch and relive that day. I have already watched it about 100 times and cry and laugh each time. It was so nice to see more things from the day from the outside looking in that we may have missed.
Our Wedding DJ
Our DJ, Kevin Joynt, was amazing and played a perfect array of songs. Everyone was dancing the entire night until the reception ended. My favorite was probably Copperhead Road and when he snuck in an Eminem song( I mean come on we are from Detroit, you need some Eminem played so you can rap at your wedding)
