Our Love Story
Our love story began with a swipe! Yup, that’s right, we are true Tinder success story! It was October 2014, mid-football season. Lucas, a U of M fan, and me a former Spartan, went back and forth fighting over who would win the big game. Around our third anniversary, Lucas got us tickets for the Michigan / Michigan State football game in East Lansing and surprised me by proposing at my alma mater in front of the Beaumont clock tower.
Our Wedding Vision:
Wedding planning, for the two of us, was easy. We both envisioned a winter wonderland in a rustic setting. As soon as we walked into Waldenwoods, we knew this was our venue! Everything else just fell right into place. The best moment was our first look. As soon as we saw each other we could not stop smiling!
Wedding DJ Experience
Our first dance was to ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ by James Arthur; the lyrics just spoke to us. Our wedding DJ had the dance floor going all night but honestly, when “Backstreet’s Back” by Backstreet Boys came on the floor was packed! Everyone loves a good 90’s throwback!
Wedding Videography Experience
Lucas and I are both really big on capturing moments. We love taking pictures and videos! It was very important to both of us to capture as much as possible and we are both so thrilled that we did by getting a wedding video. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and Mike Staff was able to catch every moment on camera so we can share it for a lifetime!
Wedding Photography Experience
Both of our wedding photographers were amazing! We were able to share our vision with them and discuss what we wanted. They made the whole process easy. We showed them examples of pictures we liked and they captured our vision and made it become a reality.
