Wedding Venue Spotlight: Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center

by | March 6, 2018

Fox Hills Offers Options

From the moment you turn onto the winding drive that leads you through acres of perfectly manicured golf greens, to the moment you walk through the main doors of the banquet center and are greeted with warm smiles and a warm fire place – the Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center is easy to fall in love with. Working roughly 50 weddings a year at Fox Hills, Mike Staff Productions has tight knit relationship with the wedding planning team at this venue. Wedding & Social Specialist, Rebecca Ameel recently invited some of the Mike Staff team to take a behind the scenes tour of their venue to see if it’s the right fit for you!

Behind the Scenes at Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center

Now, if you watched the video you learned Fox Hills is actually more like 3 venues in one! Here’s more info…

The Golden Fox

The Golden Fox Clubhouse offers dramatic views of the golf course, an expansive outdoor deck and provides modern ballroom vibes! This is a great year round option. The garden gazebo just outside the window provides a lovely outdoor backdrop for your wedding ceremony with your guests seated around the flower gardens. After exchanging your vows, you and your guests will enjoy an elegant ballroom reception accommodating up to 500 guests. If you’re having a large wedding, this is by far your best option!

The Fox Classic

The historic Fox Classic features Fox Hills’ original log-cabin clubhouse, dating back to 1927! Talk about being surrounded by history. The majority of the interior has been upgraded with modern amenities but still features old world details, a stone fireplace coupled with views of the golf course are special any time of year. The garden gazebo or golf course ceremony provides nature as a backdrop to your nuptials. The Fox Classic accommodates up to 175 guests.

Summerhouse on the Lakes

Their newest venue is perfect option for the bride and groom who love the outdoors. You will wine, dine and dance under the stars while providing you and your guests with a romantic oasis to escape to. The Summerhouse accommodates up to 200 guests and most importantly there are standard bathrooms easily accessible to this outdoor venue.

Yes, Fox Hills is glamorous and gives couples lots of options to say ‘I Do’ but something else that’s important when choosing a venue is technology! There’s going to be lights, music, speeches, audio, visual — you get the picture? You want to make sure all of those technical details go off without a hitch. It’s one of the reasons the Mike Staff Productions wedding DJs (in particular) happen to love working wedding at Fox Hills. They have reliable, easy to access power sources and plugs to ensure all of your wedding day details go as planned. A power panel like the one below goes a loooooong way!

A wedding video is not a “splurge.” It’s an heirloom you’ll watch every anniversary. (And it’s more affordable than you think!)
