Fall Wedding Decor inspiration
Spring and Summer used to be the top seasons to get married, for obvious reasons. But then Autumn showed up one day and stole the show! September & October are two of the busiest months for the Mike Staff Productions DJs, photographers & videographers and we don’t hate it! Vibrant colors, cool temperatures – what’s not to love? Let’s tap into those fall vibes!
- Haystacks, OH MY!
All of these fall favorites can be easily incorporated into your reception decor. These elements can be part of your centerpieces, cake decorations (see more below) or great scene setters. These details will bring a rustic theme to your decor. If you’re planning to incorporate seasonal accents into your decor, don’t go overboard. You don’t want your reception space to look like the Halloween aisle at your local craft store. Keep it tasteful yet on theme.
You don’t have to feel stuck using only a yellow or orange color palette. Jewel tones are a glamorous and elegant alternative. Lets not forget about rose gold either! Throw in some copper, velvet materials and sequins and you’ll have a reception room to remember. Even a neutral color palette such as ivory and gray, will create a welcoming and cozy setting. Add wood elements, fresh greenery, and candlelight and you have a fall wedding people will remember.
Other fall decor tips to keep in mind:
- Autumn scented candles are popular favors
- Cider mills and barns are great locations for your Romantics portrait session.
- Outdoor ceremony? Plan for chilly temperatures. Gas patio heaters and warm beverage stations, such as warm cider, cocoa and teas, will help to keep your guests comfortable.
