When getting married at a castle you – of course – won’t want to leave it and the beauty of this venue is you don’t have to! Kings Court Castle is a one stop shop for the couple and their guests. On top of 3 reception ballrooms to choose from, Canterbury Village has their own wedding chapel that seats 220 people and includes a private bridal suite. Did I mention there’s a Pub, Christmas shops and Yates Cider Mill on the Village grounds? Guests can grab a cocktail or a souvenir between the ceremony and reception without ever needing to leave.
Mike Staff Productions visited Kings Court Castle just before the holidays and WOW was it decked out for Christmas! From twinkling lights, garland draped around their grand staircase, to massive Christmas trees that filled every nook and cranny — talk about not having to worry about winter wedding decorations!
We caught up with Kylie Dombroski, one of the venues Event Coordinators who knows a thing or two about providing great service. She’s not only been a part of the wedding industry for close to a decade but she started out as a server behind the scenes and knows what it takes to provide a flawless wedding from start to finish. She took our cameras behind the scenes to better show you how magical this venue can be.
