Our Love Story
We met at work through mutual friends 6 years ago. I quickly knew he was going to be the one I was going to marry. Everything with us was just natural and our families and friends all got along super well. One of our hobbies is going out on the lake on our boat. One day when it was just us, Chad had begun talking about how much he truly appreciated me and how I have accepted and supported him and his boys. He then got down on one knee and proposed. Little did I know, he had also planned with my friends and family to come to our dock to be picked up and celebrate with us after I had said yes. The best part was that he also made sure to bring multiple colors of nail polish so that I could make sure my nails looked good while showing off my ring!! It was a really special day!
Our Wedding Photography
Our professional wedding photographer, Dennis, was amazing. He made us feel super comfortable and he was also a CMU graduate so I knew we would hit it off! The photos were really important to us to be able to capture the moments you can’t really put into words.
Our Wedding Vision
Our vision for our wedding was a fall wedding and we knew we didn’t want a typical ballroom setting. We wanted to keep things simple and focus on what was important to us – good music, good food and good drinks!! Luckily even though the world was going through the pandemic the timing worked out for when we had planned it and we were able to have the wedding we wanted with all of the people we wanted.
Our Wedding Video
Getting a professional wedding video was important to us because the day feels long but it truly does fly by so it is awesome to have someone there to capture all of the special moments and even the ones you might not see. I loved being able to re-listen to the speeches and just see how all of the planning had come to life.
Our Favorite Wedding Memories
Getting to have our two boys be a part of it was something really special for us and for them. It was so sweet to see how excited they were to be involved. & then just getting to celebrate with all of our friends and family – it was a fun time.
