Our Love Story
He proposed after freaking me out with a backpack that had a faulty zipper pocket that I wasn’t aloud to go in but it was really my ring in the pocket, and a 2 hour motorcycle ride to Port Austin. Once we were there it was beautiful. We went for a walk on the pier where I turned around and he was down on one knee!Our Wedding Vision
I have been planning my wedding since I was 12 years old lol. I wanted classic and timeless. We went with black, grey and white colors.Our Wedding DJ
Our professional wedding DJ was so much fun! He listened to what we wanted and delivered! When we walked out on the balcony after the ceremony he got the crowed to go crazy and we weren’t expecting that to happen but it was amazing he was able to do that. We forgot to send him the requested songs from our guests but he had the dance floor going nonstop. Our first dance was to “You” by Dan + Shay. We selected a song that was up-beat because that’s our personalities.Our Wedding Photos
Our wedding photos were very important to us but I wanted to make sure we were having fun with them. We told them we have no idea what we are doing but we like the candid photos more and our photography team did an excellent job!Our Wedding Video
Getting a professional wedding video wasn’t important at first. When we talked to other married couples they all told us to get the video. I’m so glad we listened to them! There’s moments we missed that are in the video and I’m so glad I was able to see it captured and watch it.Our Wedding Planning Advice
You don’t have to go over board with everything. You don’t need a huge packet for an invitation. You don’t have to go to the best wedding stores to find what you are looking for. Having a wedding checklist helped me stay on track and made sure I had everything done on time. The day of, don’t let anything bother you.
