Our Love Story
Dominic proposed to me on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2017, at my parent’s house in front of my family. He had three individually wrapped gifts for me: a set of small candles (that I did not like lol), sweatpants (acceptable), and a set of picture frames representing important dates we had gone on. He had one from our 6 month anniversary, our one-year anniversary, and a blank picture frame that said “Forever?”. I turned around and he was on his knee with the ring! After I had said yes, his parents and one of his sisters surprised me and came in to celebrate with us a few minutes afterward!
Our New Year’s Eve Wedding
Since we had a New Year’s Eve wedding, our theme was sort of chosen for us which was great. The wedding coordinator, Julie Gregory, and I had fun picking the linens which were gold and black sequins along with dark patterned linens which set the tone for the room. We had a great time with the flowers as well. We tied in the New Year’s Eve theme with ostrich feathers and boas that were in the floral arrangements and spread around the table. We had an amazing dessert table that fit the theme as well with gold stripes on the macaroons, cake pops, and mini cakes. We couldn’t forget the “party table” which consisted of New Year’s Eve hats, party beads and glow sticks! We wanted to make sure the whole room was tied together with our theme.
Our Wedding Video
We’re so happy we had a professional wedding videographer! We knew there was going to be so much going on during our wedding day and we wanted to make sure we could have a chance to go back and experience it, through the video. It is so awesome to be able to go back and rewatch our special day and experience it all over again. Our family members gave some very memorable speeches and we wanted to make sure we could watch that again!

What song didn’t our professional wedding DJ play that had everyone on the dance floor?! Both of our families were on the dance floor the entire night having a blast! Kyle did an excellent job keeping the songs upbeat to keep everyone on the dance floor and the dancing going all night long.
Our Favorite Wedding Memories
We had such a beautiful ceremony at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament which we felt was our favorite part of the day. Seeing each other down the aisle was a wonderful moment for us both and experiencing the sacrament of marriage was such an incredible day. We also had both of our godparents do a reading during the Mass which was great to have them apart of our day.
