He was super friendly the day of the wedding, professional, and had great ideas! Josh, our DJ, was the best! He was the DJ from our friends’ wedding and I remember what a great job he did for them, so I knew I had to book him and we were not disappointed. Our Love Story
I met Jesse in our 9th grade gym class and started dating a few weeks into the semester. 11 years later, we bought a house together and at our housewarming party on January 6, 2018, Jesse asked me in front of all of our friends and family to spend forever with him!
Our Wedding Vision
My vision for the wedding was a mix of modern and rustic – I just wanted to create an environment of love. As long as everyone was having fun, that was all that mattered to us!
Our Wedding Video
The wedding video was so important to us because your wedding day goes by so fast and there may be some parts you forget or may not even be around for! We are so happy we got the video – it brings all those feelings back we experienced that day. I think our video perfectly captures us, our love, and the entire day.
Our Wedding DJ
Our Detroit wedding DJ, Josh, was AMAZING! Highly recommend him! He kept the guests dancing all night and played everything we wanted him too. My guests absolutely loved when he played Bye, Bye, Bye – Nsync, there was even a big dance-off!
Our first song was 1000 Years, Part 2 by Christina Perri and Steve Kazee. We chose it mainly as a joke because we had dated for a very long time before getting married, but also we do feel the vows speak to our love story.
Our Wedding Memories
Our wedding day from start to finish was everything I could have dreamt of and more. My favorite moments had to be walking down the aisle and seeing Jesse for the first time, and having everyone share in our love. My second favorite would just be spending the entire night out on the dancefloor enjoying the evening with everyone!
