Leslee and Abe’s Wedding at International Banquet Center

Our Real Wedding: August 17, 2019

“10/10 We have already started recommending your company to the engaged couples we know planning their weddings!  Pam, Amy, and Dustin are artists who captured our day so perfectly and we couldn’t be happier.  Thank you!”

Happy Couple, Leslee & Abe

Our Love Story

Both of us are Michigan alumni, so I (Abe) surprised Leslee with an evening trip to Ann Arbor to “meet some friends.”  As we got there, however, I wanted to walk around campus and reminisce – specifically at the Engineering Arch where Leslee, a year ago and with no subtlety, informed me that Wolverine couples who share a kiss (or propose) will stay together forever.  It was underneath this Arch that I asked her to marry me.  We’re both proud Michigan alumni and in fact, “Go blue” was Leslee’s first message to me!

Our Wedding Photos

I was introduced to Pam, our wedding photographer, before our wedding and I was so happy about working with her!  She helped guide me with our photography plan as we weren’t very particular or picky, we just wanted to look good in the pictures.  Pam, and our other photographer Amy, both worked very hard the whole day and captured our wedding more beautifully than we could have imagined.

Our Wedding Video

Getting a wedding video was not even a question for us; it’s the best way to relive a special day.  We love how our wedding videographer Dustin captured the emotion and details from our wedding.  Dustin is incredibly talented and we are so happy with our video and highlight reel!

Our Wedding Vision & Memories

We are an easy-going couple and we wanted all of our friends and family to have a great time at our wedding.  We just wanted a big party.  We were never set on a specific color scheme or got hung up over tiny details, but we did want a more formal affair with great entertainment, food, and drinks – which all of our vendors went above and beyond with delivering.

Leslee – One of my favorite moments was sneaking out towards the end of cocktail hour to take pictures with Abe on the roof of our venue.  It was nice to have that moment as literal newlyweds to soak up all of our emotions privately, watch the sun set over downtown Detroit, and get some awesome pictures in the meantime!

Abe – I loved that Hora and that we had all of our family and friends on the dance floor celebrating this special day with us.
