Our Love Story
We met in high school, but didn’t start dating until a year after graduation. We have been together for 8 years now, and he proposed on cinco de mayo of 2018!
Our Wedding Vision
I originally planned a summer wedding, so my original vision was full of vivid colors, flowers, and beautiful outdoor greenery.
We did have to change our plans. We moved from a summer July wedding, to a winter February wedding. We were worried about the weather, but we were so blessed to have the most beautiful snow fall.
Our Wedding Photography & Videography
My photographers were amazing. Vesna and I spoke on the phone multiple times before the big day. I am a very organized person, so I thought I would remember everything I wanted on my wedding day; I remembered nothing, so I am so thankful to Vesna because she exceeded all my expectations and made sure I got everything I wanted.
A wedding video is important to me because your wedding day goes by so quickly, and it’s so hard to remember every small detail. A wedding video is not something you may watch every day, but it’s also something that you only have one chance to get, and I would much rather spend the money on one and watch it occasionally, instead of skipping out on it and regretting it.
Because of covid, we had to dramatically reduce our guest list, and a few family members couldn’t make it in for the wedding, so we feel that sharing our pictures and video gives them small glimpses of the best day of our lives.
Our Favorite Moments
My favorite moment was walking into our reception together. I have a lot of family that came in from all over the country, and walking in and seeing all of our family members there cheering us on was incredible.
