Our Love Story
Matt and I have both played hockey our entire lives. It seemed fitting that our first date was a pick up hockey game. We have played together on a team almost every Friday since for the last 10 years. He picked me up from work one day to go skate and took me back to the same rink, same sheet of ice, and same locker room we shared on our first date and proposed there. It was PERFECT!
Our Wedding Vision
I love anything glitter, but didn’t want it to be cheesy! We decided to call our “theme” Elegant Glamour. Mostly whites and silvery glitter with pops of dusty blue and burgundy. I knew since we booked the venue that I wanted to have crystals hanging from the ceiling. We always have candles burning in the home so wanted to fit as much candlelight as possible on the tables and then also mimic it with the fairy lights in the globes hanging from the ceiling/behind the head table.
Our Wedding Video
The wedding videographer was very important to us. Everyone tells you how fast the day is going to go, but it’s hard to understand JUST how fast until you’re there. It’s so special to look back on our vows and the speeches that were given. Also, we enjoyed seeing things that were missed the first time around or while we were off doing something else.
Our Wedding Photos
We LOVE our wedding photographer! Mark shot our engagement photos so we were very excited and happy to work with him again. Our photos are super important to us. We will be able to look back on our day for the rest of our lives. Also, we’ll finally be able to decorate the walls of our house 🙂
