Natalia and Kyle’s Wedding at Fox Hills

Our Real Wedding: October 3, 2020

“I couldn’t be happier using Mike Staff Productions for our photography & videography. They were professional, kind, and listened to my vision from the very first consultation. The pictures came out looking better than I could have imagined. I would 100% recommend them! You won’t ever regret using someone who takes care of their customers. Mike Staff was so understanding, patient and willing to work with us through the pandemic and all of the date changes, venue changes and uncertainty. That speaks volumes on what kind of company this is.”

– Happy Bride, Natalia

Our Love Story

Our love story is unique, and the full, long version will make anyone believe in soulmates. We met at a wedding when we stood up and were paired as bridesmaid and groomsmen. It was instant attraction and chemistry. 2 weeks after the wedding we started dating, and 3 years after that, Kyle proposed. He took me to the place where we had our first date: a nature trail with a seating area looking over a lake. We sipped on wine as we reminisced about the last 3 years together, when he popped the question.

Our Wedding Vision

When we first started planning our wedding, we envisioned a huge party filled with everyone we loved and adored. We had invited (& sent Save the Dates to) close to 300 people, including Natalia’s family from Poland.

Once the pandemic hit, we slowed our wedding planning down to see what the future will hold. Unfortunately, things didn’t get better and we had to switch our indoor venue to an outdoor pavilion and cut our guest list to 100, including our vendors and change our date to have the wedding 3 weeks earlier than planned. Natalia’s family had to cancel their trip to the States because the borders closed and it was not safe to fly at that time. It was heartbreaking, but we decided to go to Poland for our honeymoon later on and have a wedding pt. 2 there with all the family who didn’t get to attend.

Our Wedding Memories

Our favorite part of the wedding was just being able to spend quality time with our closest friends and family. It was evident that everyone was in need of a great night out to celebrate and have fun after a long 7 months of living through a pandemic. We kept everyone safe and took all the precautions necessary, but people had a blast, and that makes us the most happy.

Our Wedding Photography

One of the most important things to me in the world is pictures & memories. As a bride, so much of the day goes by in a flash and you feel like you miss so much of the day. Having pictures to look back on brings you back to that moment and lets you relive all the special moments of that day. Our wedding photographer was incredible. We needed someone who was able to take charge and get everyone where they needed to be to make sure we were running on schedule. I wanted someone who was able to capture the special candid moments, and not just the staged/preplanned shots. Amy was incredible and paid attention to every detail. There wasn’t one picture missing that I wish was captured. She was on top of it all.

Our Wedding Videography

Once we heard Natalia’s family from Poland weren’t able to make it to the wedding, we knew how important it was to have a professional wedding video we can send them to make them feel included and like they were part of the celebration. We wanted Natalia’s grandparents to be able to watch her make her vows, and dance with her father. Those special moments only happen once, and it was clear that capturing those special moments were extremely important not only for the couple, but for the family too.

Once we receive the final video, we are going to make a package of the video and photos to send to Natalia’s family in Poland. We also printed out pictures of our guests & included them in our thank you cards. We knew the sentiment of those pictures would mean a lot to our closest family and friends.
