Imagine, you’ve officially chosen the perfect vendors, and you’re counting down the days to your wedding day – we’re counting down too! At this point, you’re probably wondering what happens from now until your big day. We’re here to answer all your questions.
Your Wedding Photography Package: What You Get & When
Communicating with Your Photographer
- In the final 4 months before your wedding, you will receive regular email updates & check-ins from your wedding team.
- 6 weeks before your wedding you will receive a digital photography planning form from your photographer to go over the details of your day.
- Exactly one month before your wedding date, your photographer will contact you to go over your planning form, get familiar with you, and understand your expectations. This collaborative call will be unrushed and you’ll find that you’ll establish a rapport with your photographer which will result in amazing wedding images.
- Then, the Tuesday before your wedding, your photographer will call you again to confirm all of the final details, and timelines and check in to see if you have any last-minute questions or concerns
Two Fridays After Your Wedding
- 10 preview photos
- Uploaded to Mike Staff Productions Facebook page << (make sure to ‘Like’ us!)
Your One Month Anniversary
- Link to a full online gallery
- Link to first album draft (if purchased)
- High-resolution jpeg files delivered by convenient digital download, with full personal copyright
Our Post Production Process
Our team of editors has a specific system in place to make sure they can focus on every wedding day with the attention they deserve. You will never find one of our editors juggling multiple weddings at one time just to get the job done quickly. The size of our post-production team allows each person to concentrate on one wedding at a time before moving on to another.
- Your images will receive color correction and exposure balancing so that they are print-ready.
In reality, how the images turn out in the editing room is thought about while the photographer is taking the pictures; proper lighting, surroundings, the angle. So, think of the post-production process as an enhancement of your photos.
- When your wedding images are ready for viewing, a member from our graphic design team will notify you via email and be available to answer any questions, if needed.
One of the most valuable items you get back (for free) is a personal copyright release. This allows you to display and re-print your wedding images from the printer of your choice. At Mike Staff Productions, we believe that when you pay for wedding photography, you should get your personal copyrights without additional fees.

Our Post Production Process
Our editors sit down with hours and hours worth of footage to work with to create the documentary of your love story. Depending on your package, your videographer will get footage of these moments and include them in your mini-movie or documentary film:
- Getting ready

Our videographers will also capture the smaller moments of your wedding day you didn’t necessarily see or experience.
