The Pine Knob Mansion, originally a 19 room English Manor, was built by Colonel Waldon in 1927. It sits on the highest natural point in Southeastern Michigan and is surrounded by exquisite manicured gardens. It’s Great Hall with arched ceilings and stained glass windows offers magnificent views of the sunrise and sunset. A ceremony in the garden at the gazebo affords views in excess of 30 miles of the surrounding communities and landscape.
Pine Knob Carriage House
The Carriage House, built in 1927, originally housed the caretaker’s family for Colonel Waldon’s estate. The property surrounded by orchards on an 850 acre estate has been transformed into a unique contemporary banquet facility with crystal chandeliers and picturesque floor to ceiling windows. While overlooking the golf course it also provides an outside pavilion for a one of a kind ceremony. The wooded golf course adds a breathtaking backdrop, with beautiful displays of nature at its finest.
Oakhurst Country Club
Oakhurst is a popular choice for couples looking to have a romantic wedding that delivers options! The rolling hills of their golf course provide such a beautiful setting for your wedding photos, video and simply for your guests to gaze at. Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club
We are obsessed with the Pine Forest that Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club is nestled in. Need we say more? OBSESSED! This private location engulfed by Mother Nature is where you can say ‘I Do’. You also won’t have worry about sharing the venue with anyone else. The Banquet Venue at Shepherd’s Hollow will be exclusively yours throughout your reception. Independence Oaks is a huge park that offers many different settings and options for where you could have your ceremony & reception. With beautiful woods and being located right on Crooked Lake you have a many choices. Since you are working with the Parks Services make sure you are organized and have everything set in advance so there are no surprises when it comes to your big day.
Fountains Golf & Banquet
Fountains Golf & Banquet is a beautiful golf course to tie the knot in Oakland County. With a beautiful outdoor gazebo located next to Spring Lake, you and your guests will be greet with a 60-foot spray fountain. Their Banquet Room offers a beautiful panoramic view of the picturesque golf course. After dinner you can dance the night away on our super-sized dance floor.
