Our Love Story
George and I are both ballet dancers, and we met by being partnered together in a ballet. After first meeting, we dated for four and a half years. We’ve been dancing together ever since! He proposed at a beach up north Michigan, which was special since we share a lot of special memories at that beach.
Our Wedding Vision
We envisioned a romantic, elegant wedding indoors. We had to change our plans many times due to Covid-19…our wedding was supposed to be in June, but by April we were sure that wasn’t going to happen. We took a shot in the dark and postponed the wedding to August. Thanks to God, our August date worked out beautifully! Everything was able to go as we originally planned with the exception of face masks being required. However, just TWO days before the wedding, the health department showed up and made us move everything outdoors. Thankfully, the reception staff were wonderful, and everything ended up being better than we originally planned.
Our Wedding Photography
I can’t stress enough how important the wedding photos are to us! It’s the one way that you can relive the special day forever. We were so blessed by our wedding photographer. She was so easy to work with and we really appreciated her taking charge. She knew what poses looked good, posture tips, and she chose the most gorgeous backdrops.
Our Wedding Videography
The professional wedding video is so important to us because it allows us to relive the day and remember what a great time we had. The editors did a phenomenal job capturing the highlights of the day. You can’t watch it without smiling! It’s so fun to share our wedding video with guests that were not able to make it. They’re able to experience the fun of the day and they’re all blown away at how well done the wedding video is put together, too!
Our Favorite Moments
One of my favorite moments from the wedding day was walking down the aisle. Seeing my fiancé get emotional was so heartwarming to me and a moment I will never forget. Lastly, our first dance as husband and wife was unforgettable. Dance is what brought us together and how we fell in love…it was a very special moment.
